NBAA Names Kali Hague to Board of Directors

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced that pilot, flight instructor and attorney Kali Hague has been appointed to the association’s Board of Directors as its Young Professional Director. Her three-year term runs through April 2024.

Hague is a partner at Jetlaw, LLC, where she advises clients in the U.S. and internationally on all aspects of aviation law. She represents Fortune 500 companies, business leaders and some of the largest charter operators in the world. Hague also co-authors Jetlaw’s FAR/AIM Explained book series and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

She also co-presents Jetlaw’s NBAA-approved Professional Development Programs with former NBAA Advisory Council member Kent Jackson and speaks throughout the country on best practices in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and IRS regulatory compliance and human resources in flight departments.

Hague focuses her aviation law practice on supporting the legal needs of flight departments and air carriers, representing clients in aviation mergers and acquisitions, airport law matters and FAA, DOT and IRS regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Jetlaw, LLC, Hague worked in-house for a Part 135 charter operator and aerial mapping operation. She gained experience in airport operations and management while working for the Salina Airport Authority.

Previously, Hague completed the Part 141 professional pilot program at Kansas State University, where she was recognized as an Alumni Fellow in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science degree Summa Cum Laude in aeronautical technology from Kansas State University at Salina, and her JD with Dean’s Honors from Washburn University School of Law. She completed her LL.M. in international and European tax law from Maastricht University Faculty of Law in the Netherlands.

In 2018, NBAA in recognized Hague as one of its Top 40 Under 40 in Business Aviation award recipients. She also is a member of NBAA’s Young Professionals Council.
