Aero Club of Washington Appoints Stephanie Griffith as New Executive Director

The Board of the Aero Club of Washington is pleased to announce Ms. Stephanie Griffith as its newly hired Executive Director. Stephanie effectively started her new position September 6 and oversees the full operational and management needs of the Aero Club of Washington.

Ms. Griffith has more than seven years of experience working within the non-profit community and aerospace industry. She previously served as the Director of Awards, Events & Membership with the National Aeronautic Association (NAA) where she directed the association’s 12 annual awards, led an events program honoring aviation’s greatest leaders and achievements, and managed over 700 individual members and 40 corporate and affiliate members. Formerly, Stephanie served as the Community Services Coordinator at the Stone Ridge Association where she directed and enhanced the publication of a monthly newsletter, created a social media strategy, and diversified the community events program. Stephanie has been a member of the Aero Club of Washington since 2015 and served on the 2017 Wright Dinner Committee. In addition, she is a member of Women in Aviation International (WAI), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and volunteered as an Advisory Board Member for the Reading is Fundamental Northern Virginia Chapter.
