The event titled “Fascination of Flight,” featured a great lineup of speakers and also presented the opportunity to network with some key men and women in the aviation industry. More than 700 people attended the one-day conference, hearing from representatives of the airlines, airports, business aviation, manufacturers and NASA. This year’s Summit also featured the eighth annual Carol B. Hallett Award, sponsored by American Airlines, established to recognize an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and has provided significant contributions in advancing the aviation industry.
