AUVSI New England will be hosting ROBOTICA UAS Summit 2018 on June 7 at The Exchange building in the Seaport District of Boston. Drones and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) are a rapidly growing industry in New England and around the world. The New England Chapter of the Association of Unmanned Vehicles International (AUVSI) has assembled an array of regional thought leaders to discuss issues affecting this new UAS ecosystem and industry. The AUVSI New England UAS Summit will look at developments in government, test site initiatives and the future of the entire UAS industry, large and small. Visit RoboticaUAS.org to register and see the full agenda.
ROBOTICA UAS Summit is the second of four ROBOTICA Summits hosted by AUVSI. The Unmanned Vehicle Summit took place in April at Draper. AUVSI will host a Maritime Robotics Summit and Technology Workforce Summit later this year.
Speakers include Noel Zamot, Corvus Analytics; Dr. Waseem Naqvi, Raytheon, Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS); Scott Gardner FAA Emerging Technologies, UAS Tactical Operations; Dr. Gregory S. Woo, US DOT/Volpe Center; Dr. John Hansman, MIT International Center for Air Transportation; Dr. Jeffrey DeCarlo, MassDOT Aeronautics Division, as well as other decision makers from UAS entities across the sector.
Since its launch in 2012, the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) New England Chapter has been supporting and advocating on behalf of the robotics and unmanned systems industries in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. AUVSI provides a number of opportunities for information exchange, networking and business development, and, as the world’s largest nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to the unmanned systems and robotics industry, leads, promotes and supports the unmanned systems and robotics community.
