The Commercial Aviation Coordinating Commission (CACC) will meet virtually for its fourth meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 21, to discuss the needs of commercial aviation in Washington.
Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the state’s Safe Start plan, about decreasing the COVID-19 risk, the meeting will be held online. Members of the public can participate virtually (details below).
The Wednesday, Oct. 21 meeting will include staff updates and developments since the last meeting (July 22), a discussion on recommended deliverables to the legislature in January 2021, a potential extension of the CACC timeline, and updated evaluation criteria based on individual commission member input.
Guest speakers are planned for presentations on sustainable aviation fuel and the Federal Aviation Administration’s environmental review process.
The public will be able to hear and see the CACC virtual meeting via internet access with their computer, tablet or phone. A public comment period is scheduled at the start of the meeting. Those who are interested in submitting comments or suggestions to the CACC can do so via email to cacc@wsdot.wa.gov.
