South Grand Lake Regional Airport has selected EPIC Fuels as its new fuel supplier for its expanding facilities at 1K8 in Ketchum OK. The airport selected EPIC Fuels as its new avgas 100 LL and jet fuel supplier after an extensive review of suppliers revealed EPIC is best suited to meet the needs of the airport and the general aviation users in the greater Grand Lake area. In addition to choosing EPIC as its fuel supplier, the airport will accept the EPIC Card and the Signature Flight Support Card for fuel purchases.
The South Grand Lake Regional Airport (1K8) is strategically located for quick and easy access to Grand Lake Country by propeller or jet. In a short period of time, the airport has been transformed from a sod strip with a pole barn hangar to a thriving airport including 5,200â² x 60â² lighted hard surface runway.
The airport is dedicated to service. There are no fees for operations, short term tie downs, or airport vehicle parking. A free shuttle and two crew cars are available with notice. The terminal building restrooms are available 24/7 with VFR Squawk door code.
The airport is an economic development project for the benefit of the Grand Lake Area Community. With improvements of expanded fuel ramp, runway lights, Jet fuel truck, GPS all weather approach, and runway widening and overlay in progress the airport has reached a new level for 24/7 operation for business and personal aircraft, including coast to coast flights and destination leased aircraft.
