Aviation industry veteran Boyd Hunsaker has joined King Aerospace as director of sales. Most recently, Hunsaker served as director of sales and marketing for ST Aerospace San Antonio, AERIA Luxury Interiors, part of Singapore Technologies Engineering.
“Boyd brings deep expertise and a reputation for open and honest negotiations,” says Jarid King, president, King Aerospace. “He embodies our no-excuses, here-to-help King Kulture.”
In his role, Hunsaker will help develop MRO specifications, define work-scopes, build program schedules, provide quotes and finalize contracts. He will also liaison between customers, operations, engineering and certification.
Previously, Hunsaker served as director of sales for Comlux America. Earlier, he held a variety of roles for Associated Air Center from 1992 to 2013. He began his career as an A&P repair technician. Hunsaker studied at Texas Aero Tech in Dallas and has earned numerous certifications for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
“I found a home for my passion and skills at King Aerospace,” says Hunsaker. “The VVIP aviation niche demands excellence, and this team delivers nothing short of its best.”
King Aerospace is planning for growth. It will soon be adding another 90,000-square-foot hangar to its 200,000-square-foot hangar space at the Ardmore (Oklahoma) Industrial Airpark. This larger footprint will enable King Aerospace to support Boeing 737, 747, 767 and even 777 aircraft and to diversify its product line to include green completions as well as VVIP interior refurbishment, maintenance, avionics and paint. The Ardmore facility also provides depot services for military and government aircraft.
