Wade Recognized as Oklahoma NextGen Under 30 Award Winner

The Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA) is pleased to announce that Katelyn Wade, ODAA Marketing & Outreach Coordinator has been honored with the Oklahoma NextGen Under 30 Award in the category of Public Service and Policy.

NextGen Under 30 celebrates the next generation of innovative, creative, and inspiring individuals who push the boundaries in various fields. Award winners are selected based on their participation and contribution to their communities, with a panel of esteemed business and civic leaders serving as judges.

“I’m especially thrilled to share this recognition with the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics,” said Wade. “My love for aviation and this industry has flourished this year— from celebrating women to amplifying the importance of general and business aviation. I can’t wait to continue our agency’s work to spread inclusivity and expand opportunity across the state in all of aerospace and aeronautics.”

Since joining ODAA as the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator in 2023, Katelyn has brought a wealth of public service experience and fresh perspectives to the agency. Her past achievements and unwavering commitment to transparency has been instrumental in enhancing the agency’s communication strategies, improving the accessibility of information to the public, and fostering stronger community engagement.
