THE FIRST OF FIFTEEN BELFORT AWOS SYSTEMS FOR THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY INSTALLED AT PRINCETON AIRPORT (39N)

BALTIMORE, MD. – Belfort Instrument Company, one of the country’s oldest meteorological sensor and meteorological system manufactures, has installed its DigiWxTM Automated Weather Observation system (AWOS) at the Princeton Airport (39N), Princeton, NJ.

The AWOS installation at the Princeton Airport is the first under the NJ DOT contract for the installation of fifteen (15) Belfort DigiWx automated weather stations throughout the State.  The AWOS AV provides real-time wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint and altimeter setting and visibility information on a graphical displaying the FBO office, over the airport’s Unicom radio, via dial-in telephone, and on the Internet.
