The Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame has announced the individuals for induction as the Aviation Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
The 2024 Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame Honorees are:
- Joseph P. (“Joe”) Allen IV, PhD, NASA Astronaut
- Wilbur A. (“Wil”) Davis, Navy Veteran and Aviation Entrepreneur
- Larry W. Gross, Purdue University Aviation Educator, FAA Pilot Examiner
- Dr. Worthe S. Holt, Jr., USAF Maj. Gen. (Ret.), Physician
- John D. Riddle, USAF Maj. Gen. (Ret.), and
- Edmond Soliday, State Representative, Veteran, United Airlines Pilot and System Safety Pioneer
These individual Honorees have made significant and enduring contributions to the history of aviation and aerospace in Indiana, the nation, or the world through achievement, leadership, exceptional service, innovation, and or entrepreneurial spirit.
The Honorees will be inducted as the Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame Class of 2024 at the Honors Banquet on September 21st, 2024, at the 502 Event Center, Carmel, Indiana. Their induction will be commemorated with a permanent Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame display plaque, a personal medallion and crystal award.
