Twin Falls Airport, officially known as Magic Valley Regional Airport (TWF), is a vital gateway to southern Idaho, offering convenient access to the region’s scenic landscapes and growing business hubs.
A year ago, TWF began offering two nonstop flights to Salt Lake City International Airport operated by Delta partner SkyWest Airlines in the Embraer E175. In anticipation of the larger capacity aircraft, the airport was required to adopt increased security measures. To outline how the airport would meet these stringent regulations, a new CAT IV Airport Security Plan (ASP) was required.
Kinexis Consulting played a pivotal role in enhancing the airport security plan for TWF. Their work, which involved a structured approach that included a detailed assessment, the development of a comprehensive plan, implementation support and compliance efforts, ensured that TWF could effectively manage security risks while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting the needs of the airport community.

The comprehensive scope of work for the ASP was initiated in October 2023. In addition, at the request of TWF, Kinexis also provided consultation services for their badging workflows and IDMS roll out. By May 2024, Kinexis Consulting had submitted the final draft of the ASP to both TWF and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Their thorough work, which was performed over an eight-month period, paid off when the TSA approved and accepted the program in June 2024, with only minor edits and adjustments needed.
