During November, a record-breaking 986,908 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. This was an increase of 97 percent compared to November 2020 and 13 percent more than the passenger traffic in November 2019. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 73 percent compared to last year. This is the seventh consecutive month that RSW has reported record-breaking passenger traffic.
The traffic leader in November was Southwest with 198,737 total passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Delta (166,206), American (154,068), United (147,482) and Spirit (100,597).
Southwest Florida International Airport had 9,219 aircraft operations; an increase of 30 percent compared to November 2020. Page Field saw 12,793 operations, a 33 percent increase compared to November 2020.
