Premier Aircraft Service’s Fort Lauderdale site has been appointed as a service center facility for maintenance and repair work on Cessna and Beechcraft piston aircraft.

“This designation enables us to expand our service center offerings and provide support to a new set of general aviation customers,” said David Pomerance, Premier’s Chief Operating Officer. “Being awarded the authorization is a credit to our skilled technicians who take great pride in their work quality and commitment to excellence. Premier has built its reputation on providing the best customer service in the business, and we’re excited to provide that to these new customers.”

Florida has the third highest number of piston aircraft in the United States. Premier estimates that there are more than 1,600 Cessna and Beechcraft piston owners from Tampa south to the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area.

Premier was previously a Cessna authorized service facility from 2016 to 2019. This is the first time the company has been afforded status as a Beechcraft authorized service facility.  Pomerance says that with its status as an authorized service facility it is better able to stock replacement parts in inventory and get customers in for repair and back in the air faster. Premier maintains nearly 3,000 parts in inventory with more than 1,100 parts available for ordering through its online store.

“From initial service estimates to final delivery, we strive to handle every service request with the utmost care,” said Samuel Tavarez, Vice President and Director of Maintenance. “Many of our technicians are factory trained and have advanced certifications on aircraft repairs. We have a very experienced team who support these brands from the three large hangars in Florida. We handle everything from routine maintenance and inspections to complex avionics upgrades and airframe repairs.”

Premier provides aircraft on ground emergency repairs, traveling to customers for off-site repairs. They can also have aircraft transported to their facilities for customers who are out of the area or unable to fly the aircraft in for repairs. The Premier Fort Lauderdale site is an FAA-authorized Part 145 repair station, a European Aviation Safety Agency-certified maintenance facility, and is FAA-approved for Transport Canada Civil Aviation maintenance.

To better support customers in Central and Western U.S., Premier opened a second service center location in May at Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.
