PANTHER INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY

Reflects on past and present while preparing for the future

Tampa, FL – (June 15, 2009) – Panther International, an innovator in grant and loan management solutions as well as custom software applications and Internet solutions for commercial and government clients, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year as they continue to expand into new markets.

Back in 1994, the Florida Department of Transportation needed a software application to integrate and manage state and federal aviation grant data with greater accuracy and transparency. Panther designed and developed an integrated solution to automate and manage the grant application, review process, funding allocation, and compliance tracking. The first system, which managed approximately $500,000 in grant project funds, has evolved across industries and in 2008 was utilized by grant originators and recipients to manage over $6 billion through the BlackCat Grant Management System™ suite of products.

“From the very beginning, Panther has had the design and development discipline to deliver solutions that streamline and advance business operations for our clients. The relationships we have created over our tenure are on-going and all of our products have been developed through close coordination with our clients, “said Panther CEO, Chase Stockon. “Our success as a business comes from old-fashioned hard work and great client communication coupled with a team that is genuinely invested in the success of our clients.”

Some of Panther International’s software applications include the Florida Aviation Database, Joint Automated Capital Improvement Program, TransCIP™, SeaCIP™, and the BlackCat Grant Management System™. Currently Panther is developing modules for the affordable housing industry and non-profit foundations. The company, which has projects in Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Alaska, and Puerto Rico recently entered into a partnership with The Enterprise Center in Chattanooga. Panther will manage The Enterprise Center’s grant programs, including the high speed rail (MagLev) studies between Atlanta and Nashville.

Later this year Panther will introduce the BlackCat Grant Management System™ Toolset as a new module. The Toolset will allow grant recipient agencies to integrate contracting management and their accounting systems with their project progress, tracking, and financial reporting.

Adds Stockon, “This year we celebrate our 15th anniversary and are proud to be a growing business amid a difficult economy.”
