Piper Aircraft Inc. recently delivered its first Piper Meridian single-engine turboprop to a customer in Paraguay. Piper Aircraft, Inc. confirmed that Fiorucci International Grain Production and Distribution of South America, located in the Paraguayan capital city of Asuncion, took possession of the plane this past week. The grain company will use the aircraft for personnel transportation in support of their South American operations.
“Piper is thrilled that International Grain Production and Distribution of South America picked our top-of-the-line Meridian to meet its travel requirements,” said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott. “This is the first new Piper Meridian to see service in Paraguay and we are confident that it will perform its mission with established Piper economy and reliability.”
