Aviation Influence (AVi) has announced that Take FLIGHT with AVi Soars into Delaware. Hosted by Atlantic Aviation and supported by the Delaware River and Bay Authority, the event will take place Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Wilmington Airport (ILG). This free, family-friendly youth aviation and STEAM event expects over 1,200 attendees.
“We are proud to host this year’s Take FLIGHT with AVi in partnership with Atlantic Aviation. The mission of familiarizing young people with aviation is so important and will hopefully inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams,” said Ben Clendaniel, Director of Airport Operations.

- Keynote Speaker: Record-breaking aviator Jamail Larkins
- Returning Emcees:
- Lyndse Costabile, co-founder of AVi and pilot behind the Lady Liberty aircraft (LibertyXL2)
- Samantha Mitchell, first female Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Air Jamaica, founder of Black Women in Aviation
- Interactive STEAM Experiences: Hands-on exhibits, sectional chart scavenger hunt, paper airplane challenge, flight simulators, and more
- Special Features: Static aircraft & helicopter displays, surprise historic aircraft flyovers, Author’s Corner, special guest aviation influencers, catered lunch, swag, giveaways, raffle prizes, and a digital silent auction
