The Colorado Division of Aeronautics has announced Hetty Carlson as the latest addition to the team. Hetty will begin on January 4, 2022, as the Division’s Education Grants and Outreach Program Specialist.
Ms. Carlson will be responsible for the management and implementation of the Division’s Aviation Education Grant and Internship Programs. Additionally, she will serve the Colorado aviation community with public engagement and stakeholder outreach efforts. “I am absolutely thrilled to be working with the amazing Division of Aeronautics team to promote Colorado’s future aviation workforce,” said Carlson.
Carlson comes to the Division with nearly a dozen years of aviation education experience, including over eight years serving as the Education Outreach Manager for the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. Carlson earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Department of Aviation and Aerospace Science.
