ACRP engages airport professionals throughout its research process to ensure a broad representation of perspectives. During the research process, airport industry professionals help to drive research to respond to and address airport industry challenges. ACRP is currently recruiting project panelists for fiscal year 2026 projects.
ACRP has selected 19 research projects for FY26 on topics including safety management, disaster resilience, leadership trends, airport cyber resilience, and other pertinent projects. By serving as a Project Panelist, airport industry practitioners help to define the research objective, select the research agency, and provide project guidance and oversight.
To participate, airport professionals can nominate themselves or peers to serve as volunteers on projects panels. The benefits of serving on an ACRP Project Panel include the opportunity to:
- Guide airport industry research on critical topics
- Engage with other airport industry practitioners
- Give back to industry
- Paid travel for three meetings in Washington, DC
The Transportation Research Board (TRB) manages the ACRP and relies on volunteers to serve as project panelists. Create a MyTRB profile and submit your nomination by September 15 at volunteer.mytrb.org/Panel/AvailableProjects.
