Marcela White Recognized as 2024 Breakthrough Woman by Greater Houston Women’s Chamber

Marcela White, co-owner of Tavaero Jet Charter Corp., was honored as a 2024 Breakthrough Woman at the International Conference for Women on Friday, Aug. 23. White is one of 18 women who were recognized during a luncheon program hosted by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce at the Westin Galleria Hotel located in Houston.

The Breakthrough Woman Award is a prestigious recognition that celebrates women who have made significant strides in their respective fields, breaking barriers and inspiring others with their achievements. This award honors women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication, contributing to positive change and progress in the community. White is also a licensed pilot and certified cabin attendant with more than 35 years of experience in the aviation industry. She is a member of the National Business Aircraft Association, the South Texas Business Aviation Association, and Women in Corporate Aviation. White frequently serves as a source for media and as a speaker and panelist for aviation industry conferences and events. She also serves as a mentor for women and young professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in aviation and other Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. “I am honored to be recognized as a 2024 Breakthrough Woman in the greater Houston area.
