Lone Star Flight Museum Inducts Four New Members into Texas Aviation Hall of Fame

The Lone Star Flight Museum (LSFM) has inducted four new members into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame (TAHOF) including aviation legend and record holder Bruce A. Bohannan, astronaut Dr. Bernard A. Harris, Jr., air race pioneer Marion P. Jayne and U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff General Mark A. Welsh III (ret.).

The 2022 Texas Aviation Hall of Fame presented by Northrop Grumman was attended by nearly 350 guests including community, military, corporate and philanthropic leaders. Along with recognizing and celebrating the incredible achievements of the TAHOF Class of 2022, the museum also recognized the 25th anniversary of the hall of fame and its 84 members. The event brought in more than $130,000 to support the TAHOF and the museums exhibits and programs.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
