WAI Announces Keynote Speakers for WAI2022 Conference in Nashville

Women in Aviation International members and conference attendees will no doubt be inspired with the stellar roster of speakers scheduled for the 33rd Annual International Women in Aviation Conference, March 17-19, 2022, at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

The 2022 roster of speakers includes:

Girls in Aviation Day Nashville will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. where girls ages 8-17 will be introduced to the career and lifestyle possibilities available in aviation. Registration will open in January 2022 at www.WAI.org/girls-aviation-day-nashville.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
