Sixel Consulting Group Adds Gerald as Airport Marketing Services Manager

Sixel Consulting Group, one of the nation’s leading air service development and marketing firms, has hired Jeremiah Gerald as a Marketing and Regional Development Manager. Gerald will be responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives and community outreach programs, with a primary focus on airports in the South.

“Sixel continues to expand its team in order to provide our clientele with world-class service,” said Mark Sixel, President. “Our airport partners in the South can rely on Jeremiah’s expertise in marketing as well as the relationships he’s established throughout his career.”

Gerald brings more than 13 years of aviation marketing and business development experience to Sixel Consulting Group. He launched his career with Continental Airlines while working to complete his Professional Aviation degree at Louisiana Tech University. In 2003, Jeremiah landed his first airport role as an Operations Supervisor at Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT), where he was responsible for environmental oversight, airport security, ground transportation management and compliance initiatives. He then transitioned to air service and business development, where he served for six years. As Director of Air Service and Business Development at GPT, he conducted thorough market analyses and secured local stakeholder support. His persuasive business cases and ability to engage community leaders resulted in additional air service from five new carriers.

In 2012, Gerald entered the private sector as Vice President of Business Development for Thanks Again, the world’s only airport-centric loyalty coalition provider. At Thanks Again he launched airport loyalty programs across North America and spearheaded program management and development initiatives. His efforts led to lucrative partnerships between major corporations and airports across North America.

He is a Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives and has a commercial pilot’s license.
