Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) celebrated the inaugural flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) on Allegiant recently. MSP is Allegiant’s 16th nonstop flight option from AVL, and now operates twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.
“Allegiant has been an integral part of the airport and community since 2011, and has grown significantly during the past decade,” said Lew Bleiweis, A.A.E., AVL Executive Director. “They continue to add new routes and provide significant choice for low-cost nonstop flights for our region’s travelers. Allegiant also brings many visitors to our region. Minneapolis/St. Paul is a top-25 market for us, and we are excited to see this new service begin.”
