Passero Associates Announces New Hires

Bruce Clark_2014 PRedit.jpg Passero Associates has announced the hiring of four new employees; Bruce Clark in Albany, New York and Tim Harris, Matt Newcomb and Tim Geier in Rochester, NY.

Clark (shown at right) was hired as an Aviation Services Senior Project Manager. He is a seasoned veteran in aviation services with over 30 years of multidisciplinary project design and management experience with complex aviation projects, serving commercial, municipal, regional and general aviation airports.

From the firm’s Capital District office in Albany, Clark will support Passero Associates and its professional staff in providing the Northeast region with aviation, engineering, and architectural services from a local office, with firmwide resources. Clark is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Tim Harris_2014 PR.jpg Harris (shown at right) joins Passero as Project Engineer in the Civil Engineering Department. He has more than seven years of experience in engineering design, CAD design, and drainage design on municipal, commercial, and institutional projects. Harris holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. Harris is also a New York State Firefighter, certified by the Suffolk County Fire Academy. Prior to joining Passero Associates, Mr. Harris was a Project Engineer at DDS Engineers in Henrietta, New York.

Matt Newcomb 2014 PR.jpg Passero also welcomes Newcomb as Project Engineer in the Civil Engineering Department. Newcomb (shown at right) has more than five years of experience on residential, commercial, architectural and educational projects. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an Associates in Architecture from the State University of New York at Alfred. Prior to joining Passero Associates, Mr. Newcomb was a Project Engineer at Marathon Engineering in Rochester, New York.

Tim Geier_2014 PR.jpg Tim Geier joins Passero as an intern architect. Geier (shown at left) completed his undergraduate studies in Architecture at UNC Charlotte and recently graduated with a Masters of Architecture from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
