Frallic to Retire from Gulfport-Biloxi as Executive Director in August

The Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority has announced that Bruce Frallic, A.A.E. will retire from his position as Executive Director of the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in August, 2012. Mr. Frallic has served as Executive Director of Gulfport-Biloxi for the last 26 years.

Travis Lott, Chairman of the Airport Authority, said that the Airport Commissioners appreciated the many years of professional service Mr. Frallic had given to the airport, the public and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
 
After graduating from Miami University (Ohio), Mr. Frallic began his aviation career as a Naval Aviator in 1967 in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. Having gained broad experience in military air base operations, he transitioned to civil airports in Pensacola, FL and later became Operations Manager of Raleigh-Durham Airport, NC. He came to Mississippi in 1974 and served as Airport Director of the Hattiesburg-Laurel Airport beginning work at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in 1986. Of his 45 years in aviation industry, 40 have been working in commercial airport management.

 
Mr. Frallic is an accredited airport executive, a charter member and the first President of the Mississippi Airport Managers Association, past President of the Southeastern Airport Managers Association, and received his MBA in Aviation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Mr. Frallic thanked past and present Airport Authority staff and Commissioners for their commitment to improving the facilities and safety of commercial, general and military aviation at Gulfport-Biloxi.
