Under the direction of the Chief, Office of Airports, acting independently or in a lead capacity, the incumbent performs aviation safety and permit compliance functions that implement the State Aeronautics Act. The position has a regulatory role in enforcing State aeronautics laws and regulations. Additionally, incumbent provides technical expertise to local agencies and airport/heliport owners/operators in the development, planning and effective operation of aeronautical facilities.
REQUIRED: A Commercial Pilot’s certificate with a fixed-wing airplane and instrument rating.
Salary range: $6,090.00 – $7,622.00 per Month
