Z&H Engineering Now Part of the C&S Companies

The C&S Companies are proud to announce the integration of Z&H Engineering, Inc., into the firm’s practice. C&S is a 500-person full-service engineering, architecture, planning, and construction services firm with offices in San Diego and Temecula, California and across the country. The firm has 43 years of successful projects in the aviation, governmental, and private sectors, including more than 10 years of service to clients in Arizona, California, and Nevada. In Arizona, C&S is currently working on aviation assignments for the City of Phoenix airports, Prescott Municipal Airport-Ernest A. Love Field, Springerville Municipal Airport, and was recently selected to serve as the on-call consultant for Safford Municipal Airport.

Since its founding in 1980, Z&H has grown to become one of the most well-respected aviation engineering firms in the southwest. They have completed more than 400 diverse airport design and construction projects across Arizona and California, focusing on airfield development. The firm’s reputation for client service and dedication has earned them the Southwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives’ Corporate Cup of Excellence Award in 1998 and again in 2007. This award is presented to firms that make a significant contribution to the aviation industry.

With this new collaboration, C&S’s expanded staff will now serve clients from Z&H’s established office at 9200 East Pima Center Pkwy., Suite 240, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. With a combined group of more than 30 aviation- and municipal-focused professionals in the Southwest, our team is excited to offer a new depth of local expertise and service to clients throughout the state and region. C&S looks forward to expanding the firm’s Arizona practice with additional services, including environmental, planning, and facilities design services. Taking new leadership roles in C&S are former Z&H staff Lance McIntosh, P.E. and Jessica Mullen, P.E., who will help lead the firm’s southwest airports practice; and Richard Graham, P.E., a senior project engineer who will continue to manage capital improvement projects for airports across the region.
