Scott Gray Returns to Phoenix Area as Buckeye Aviation Director

The City of Buckeye has announced the appointment of Scott Gray as its new Aviation Director.

With more than 30 years of extensive experience in airport management, administration, development and planning, Gray is a seasoned professional who has successfully managed some of the busiest airports in the country.

Gray comes to Buckeye having spent the last six years at Denton Enterprise Airport in Texas. As the Aviation Director, he managed the day-to-day operations, planning, and development of the 7th busiest airport in Texas and the 89th busiest in the nation. His strategic vision and strong analytical skills have been instrumental in the airport’s growth and success.

Prior to his Texas tenure, Gray served as the Aviation Director for the Washington County Airport in Pennsylvania and the Scottsdale Airport where he oversaw the busiest corporate jet airport in Arizona.

“I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to contribute my experience and expertise to the Buckeye Municipal Airport. I am committed to enhancing the airport’s operations and working to ensure that it grows into a vital economic hub for the community,” Gray said upon his appointment.

Gray holds a Bachelor’s degree in Airway Science Management from Arizona State University and is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives. His dedication to excellence and commitment to the highest standards in airport management make him a valuable addition to Buckeye.
