Mesa Air Group Names New Vice President of United Express Operations

Mesa Air Group, Inc. has named Mark Ade as its new Vice President of United Express Operations. Ade brings 30 years of industry experience and over 15 years of experience in airline operations. He will oversee the company’s United Express operations and report directly to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Brad Rich.

Most recently, Ade was the Regional Manager of United Express Performance for United Airlines, where he worked with United Express partner carriers to improve reliability and performance.

“I am looking forward to having Mark on the team,” said Brad Rich, Mesa Air Group Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “He has an excellent skillset for this position and will be a great leader of our United Express operation.”

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
