Charlene Reynolds Named Assistant Aviation Director at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

Charlene Reynolds, who most recently served as Deputy Aviation Director – Contracts and Services for the City of Phoenix, has been promoted to Assistant Aviation Director. Reynolds has held supervisory and management positions in several City of Phoenix departments.

Prior to her current position in the Aviation Department, Reynolds was Deputy Street Transportation Director overseeing the Management Services Division. Since 2002, she has also worked at the Phoenix Convention Center, in the Phoenix City Manager’s office and in the Community and Economic Development. Before she began her employment at the City, Reynolds held positions at Entranco Engineers and Valley Metro. She has extensive experience in contract management, purchasing, procurement and project management. Reynolds will oversee the Business and Properties, Contracts and Services, and Design and Construction divisions.

Reynolds joins Director of Aviation Services Jim Bennett, A.A.E. and Assistant Aviation Director Deborah Ostreicher on the executive team at the Aviation Department. Sarah Demory, A.A.E., Airport Deputy Director for Operations and Security at the Boise, Idaho Airport, will soon round out the executive team at the Phoenix Aviation Department as another new Assistant Aviation Director. The City of Phoenix owns and operates three airports: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport; Phoenix Deer Valley Airport; and Phoenix Goodyear Airport.
