Geoff Bing has been selected by XCelar as Director of Government Programs and will bring his twenty-plus years of experience in non-federal aviation programs, specifically weather related, to the Minnesota company. According to Cheri Haynes, Director of Training and Quality Management Programs, Bing, as part of his responsibilities, will focus on how non-fed programs will impact NextGen and how NextGen will impact non-fed programs.
The FAA has contracted with XCelar to provide consultation services on NextGen. According to Haynes, Bing started on May 23rd and will anchor the company’s office in Washington D.C. Bing was most recently with Vaisala Inc. as a Regional Market Manager for Airports.
