Tennessee DOT Announces $2.8M in Aeronautics Grants

 The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) announced that fourteen Tennessee airports received federal and state aeronautics grants totaling $2,832,300. Those airports are:

Centerville Municipal Airport
Everett-Stewart Regional Airport (Union City)
McGhee Tyson Airport (Knoxville)
Mark Anton Airport (Dayton)
Millington Regional Jetport
New Tazewell Municipal Airport
Robert Sibley Airport (McNairy County)
Smyrna Airport
Tri-Cities Regional Airport
Campbell County Airport
Fayette County Airport
Humboldt Municipal Airport
Smithville Municipal Airport
Sumner County Regional Airport

The grants are made available through the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Aeronautics Division which administers federal and state funding to assist in the location, design, construction and maintenance of Tennessee’s diverse public aviation system.
