Sixel Consulting Expands with New Air Service Consultant

Sixel Consulting Group, one of the nation’s air service development and airport marketing firms, announced the addition of Greg Atkin, as a staff Air Service Strategy and Development Consultant.

Atkin comes to Sixel from a seven year term at the headquarters of US Airways, where he worked as Manager of Domestic Mainline Route Planning.
 
Atkin began his airport career at US Airways, initially as a Senior Analyst, quantifying profitability measures, while also in charge of planning for the deployment of US Airways Boeing 757 and Embraer ERJ190 aircraft.  Later as Manager, he worked closely with the scheduling department to implement recommended route changes and adjustments. He also managed the development and implementation of the "PHX Flex" project for delivering revenue and profit strategies for the company. Also, he implemented new pricing strategies while manager of domestic pricing.
 
Well known in airport and airline circles, Atkin has represented US Airways at numerous air service conferences and as the guest speaker to promote US Airways within communities at tourism and chamber events.

 
At Sixel Consulting Group, Atkin will be responsible for working with client airports on air service development projects including community support development, airline headquarters presentations, current and new route forecasting, small community grant development, incentive analyses and recommendations, and strategic air service planning.

Atkin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He will be based in St. George, Utah.
