Patrick Goudou named technical advisor to Apave Group President

Apave, an industry leader in risk management has announced the nomination of Patrick Goudou to the post of technical advisor to Christian Mainet, President of the Group. Goudou officially joined Apave on October 1st, 2013, with the mission of consolidating the aeronautical division of the Group. After spending 28 years at the heart of the DGA (General Directorate for Armament), Patrick Goudou was named director of the European Agency of Air Security (AESA), upon its creation in 2003.

Patrick Goudou (63) is an alumnus of the Ecole Polytechnique and Sup’Aéro (Ecole nationale supérieure de l’aéronautique et de l’espace) and a General Armament Engineer. “We are proud to welcome Patrick Goudou who joins us to reinforce the development of Apave’s strategically crucial aeronautical division. His contribution will ensure that objectives as well as clients’ expectations are met,” said Christian Mainet, President of the Apave Group.

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C.
