GlobalAir.com Celebrates 15 Years - State Aviation Journal

GlobalAir.com, one of the oldest aviation websites on the Internet is celebrating their 15th year. "I started the company in 1995 knowing little more than how to turn on a PC. Since that time, I have learned how to spell better (for all of you around since 1995) and in our opinion have developed one of the best online aviation resources on the Internet" said Jeffrey A. Carrithers, President.

"We now have released what I know is the most technologically advanced "Aircraft Exchange" on the Internet to sell aircraft" said Carrithers. In an email to aviation professionals Carrithers wrote that they have taken Internet technology to the next level.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
