Vicki Cox, FAA Senior Vice President of NextGen, is confirmed to speak Monday, September 13 during the 2010 NASAO Annual Convention and Tradeshow in Wichita, Kansas. In her role as Senior Vice President of NextGen, she is responsible for the effort to transform the nation’s airspace system by using 21st century technologies to meet changing aviation demands.
"We are extremely pleased and proud that Vicki Cox has agreed to share her expertise and views on NextGen with the attendees of the NASAO Convention. As the most senior person within FAA, with the sole responsibility for the development and deployment of NextGen technology, Ms. Cox will be able to explain where the transition to NextGen stands today and where we are going to tomorrow" remarks NASAO President Henry Ogrodzinski.
This year’s convention theme, "Aviation 2020 & Beyond: A Clear Vision for the Future" reflects our focus on
aviation growth and sustainability for the next generation. In addition to general sessions, NASAO is offering a specialized track designed for anyone at the local or state level involved with communicating the value of aviation or their airport to the community or media. Forums are tailored to provide simple and effective checklists and outreach tools participants can take home and use immediately.
