Redbird Flight Simulations announced that Brittney Miculka will be joining the company as its Director of ImagineFlight, a new member-lead trade organization devoted to the development and promotion of quality flight training experiences. The new organization will be made up of a network of Redbird affiliated flight schools. ImagineFlight will bring the message of Redbird—an integrated, learner-guided, flight-training system—to the next generation of pilots.
“We are pleased to have Brittney join our team,” said Vice President of Redbird Sales and Marketing, Charlie Gregoire, “she comes to us with lots of passion and years of experience in promoting and strengthening the flight training community. Under her leadership, ImagineFlight will grow to represent high caliber flight schools that are using quality tools and technology to ensure flight training success.”
Ms. Miculka is a certificated flight instructor and holds commercial airplane single and multiengine ratings. At AOPA, she most recently held the position of director, pilot community development and worked to grow the pilot population, strengthen the GA community, and enhance flight training activity and retention. Prior to that role, she worked with AOPA Government Affairs as the manager of security policy working issues with the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Aviation Administration.
“Redbird is a company that understands how to move the flight training industry forward in an innovative and positive way. Their support to bring flight schools together through ImagineFlight is a prime example. Successful flight schools are the backbone of a strong general aviation community and I look forward to helping them thrive,” said Miculka.
Ms. Miculka has recently relocated to Austin, Texas and will be based at the company’s headquarters. She can be reached at bmiculka@redbirdflight.com.
