Marie as Airport of the Year, and Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. (AP Tech) of Urbana, Illinois, as the Robert G. Peckham Consultant of the Year. The annual awards recognize outstanding service to Michigan aviation.

Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. was recognized for providing significant enhancements to the Airport Pavement Management System through continuous innovation. In accepting the award, Kyle Potvin acknowledged the experience and dedication of the AP Tech team. “We are extremely grateful to be selected for this award,” said Potvin. “It is a pleasure working with the group at the Office of Aeronautics and our thanks goes out to each one of them.” Potvin said an added honor is the fact that the award is now named after Robert G. Peckham, an engineer that served the Michigan aviation community throughout a long and distinguished career.
