JSSI Appoints Alonso Fonseca to Director of Business Development, Helicopter Programs in Central & South America

Alonso Fonseca- JSSI4 (854x1024).jpg Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), a provider of hourly cost maintenance programs for the business aviation industry, has appointed Alonso M. Fonseca to Director of Business Development, Helicopter Programs Central and South America.

“Alonso’s reputation in the Latin America helicopter and business aviation industry is exceptional and we are excited to have him join the JSSI team,” commented Neil Book, President and CEO of JSSI. “We continue to focus on expanding JSSI’s coverage of the helicopter market by adding new programs like the new Parts-Only Programs we announced here at Heli-Expo. We are also committed to recruiting industry professionals, like Alonso, who have relationships and expertise in the market and know what it takes to be successful,” added Book.

Alonso Fonseca’s sales and business development career has spanned over 24 years and includes successful positions in International and Latin American Sales for aircraft engine MROs facilities. Most recently, Mr. Fonseca was Director of Sales, New Business Development for Latin America and Brazil for Heli-One, a segment of CHC Helicopter.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
