First Ever Cockpit-Fest USA Scheduled at Kansas Aviation Museum

The Kansas Aviation Museum, in association with the Newark Air Museum in Newark, England, is hosting the first ever Cockpit-Fest USA this September 29th/30th at the Kansas Aviation Museum. This two day event coincides with the McConnell AFB air show featuring the USAF Thunderbirds.

An indoor exhibit area will include instrument panel displays, ejection seats and much more. Aircraft simulators will be available to the public for flight. The cockpits attending include a 737-200, AH-1 Cobra simulator, DC-8 simulator, F-4 Phantom simulators, B-52 Stratofortress cockpit, F-16 Fighting Falcon simulator, F-8 Crusader, F-5 Freedom Fighter, F-84F Thunderstreak, and an F-15A Eagle cockpit.

 
The Kansas Aviation Museum presents itself as an excellent venue from which to watch the McConnell Air Show and Good Will of Wichita will provide food during the event. All proceeds from food sales will go to support Good Will of Wichita.
 
The event runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both days.
