Engen Trophy Presented to Ris at Aero Club Luncheon

engan trophyedit.jpg Will Ris, Senior Vice President, Government Affairs for American Airlines was presented the Donald D. Engen Aero Club Trophy during the Aero Club of Washington’s monthly luncheon on Thursday. In his role with American, he is responsible for global government and regulatory affairs and public policy.

Dunkerley.jpgThe Engen Trophy is named for the late Adm. Donald D. Engen, former head of the Federal Aviation Administration and Director of the National Air and Space Museum, and is given to an individual, team, or organization for a lifetime of achievement in aviation, or a single event or series of events, which reaffirms the Wright Brother’s standard of excellence in aviation. The permanent Trophy resides in the National Air & Space Museum.

The Aero Club’s December luncheon speaker was Mark Dunkerley (shown at left), Hawaiian Airlines President and CEO.
