Charleston Adds Non-Stop Service to O’Hare

American Airlines recently announced that beginning April 6, 2010 will offer non-stop service from Yeager Airport (Charleston, WV) to Chicago O’Hare – two departure flights and two return flights daily, provided by American Airlines’ regional carrier American Eagle using 44-seat Embraer regional jets.

"We are thrilled that West Virginia is gaining new air service," said Susan V. Chernenko
Director, West Virginia Department of Transportation Aeronautics Commission. The new service, according to Chernenko, will not only provide another worldwide connection for West Virginia, it will provide passengers with more options. "We hope this additional competition will result in reduced airfares," said Chernenko.

American Airlines started non-stop service from Yeager Airport to New York’s LaGuardia International Airport last year.
