Charles H. Huettner, Executive Director of the Aerospace State Association (ASA), announced the signing of a memorandum-of-understanding (MOU) between ASA and the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) that will grow ASA and increase the ability of ASA to influence aerospace policy at the state and federal levels. Under the agreement, ASA will become the lead for state focused educational activity for AIA and AIA will provide ASA insights important for state actions and continue its very effective initiatives in Washington DC and with major aerospace companies.
Huettner said the MOU and the successful FDI Expo in October have raised the bar for ASA. “The partnership with AIA will improve the ability of ASA to serve our states, increase high paying aerospace jobs, and promote STEM education to build a workforce for the future.
