2013 Virginia Business Aviation Symposium Set for March 26th

Sponsored by the Department of Aviation and the Virginia Aviation Business Association, the 2013 Virginia Business Aviation Symposium is set for March 26th.  There will be a discussion and exploration of critical issues and possible partnerships to achieve higher rates for utilization of services which allow business and commerce to move by small aircraft to communities throughout the Commonwealth.

Air Charter and Air Taxi Operators, Fixed Based Operators, General Aviation airport operators and others associated with the small aircraft transportation sector are invited to join in the dialogue. 
          
The symposium will be held at the Metropolitan Aviation complex at Manassas Regional Airport (HEF).  Join in the discussion, and be a part of the action plan that will attempt to help foster more business for business aviation!

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
