NBAA Announces Recipients of 2026 Leadership Conference Scholarship

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced that the association’s Business Aviation Management Committee has selected two individuals as recipients of its 2026 Leadership Conference Scholarship.

Each scholarship covers the cost of registration associated with attendance at the 2026 NBAA Leadership Conference. The Leadership Conference is designed for current and future leaders in all facets of the business aviation industry, from aircraft operators to vendors who provide products and services within the industry.

The scholarship is sponsored in 2026 by donations from committee members and members of the business aviation industry. The recipients will be recognized during the conference by the Business Aviation Management Committee.

The 2026 Leadership Conference recipients are:

Jacob Doster: quality assurance inspector at Pilatus Aircraft USA, Rock Hill, SC
Julia Harrington: lead captain at Axis Jet in Chicago, IL

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
