The National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) applauds the U.S. House of Representatives for passing H.R. 1339 the Advanced Air Mobility Coordination and Leadership Act.
“The technologies that make Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) possible are advancing rapidly, and thoughtful, well-informed policies and regulations must be developed quickly to ensure their safe and efficient integration into the National Airspace System, as well as make certain that these new technologies serve the communities that will be their hosts,” said NASAO President and CEO Greg Pecoraro. “State Aviation leaders deeply appreciate the action by the US House of Representatives passing the Advanced Air Mobility Coordination and Leadership Act (H.R. 1339), which will provide a more formal and collaborative framework for planning and coordinating AAM activities at every level of government.
