Three months ago, Lima Flight™ released an app to make it easy to locate local instructors and flight schools. The company reports that the app has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm and that the connection numbers are beating all predictions.
Lima Flight says they currently have over 1,000 downloads from new students and general aviators across the U.S who are searching for connections. In addition to students looking for flight instructors, a CFI or flight school can download Lima Flight™ and create a profile.
The app is free while they build out (Fall 2025) at which time they estimate a monthly charge of $9.99 for CFIs and $49.99 for Flight Schools. The app will always be free to search and create a general profile.
In the coming months, the company will be continuing to grow and update Lima Flight’s aviation eco-system, adding directories for aviation maintenance techs and rental aircraft. Also to come is a Community Connect feature that will allow users to learn about and connect with top-tier industry leaders in education, financing, insurance and more.
