The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) has announced that it has exceeded 10,000 members – a record high in the association’s 95-year history. These members represent a wide range of aviation professionals at approximately 966 airports and more than 660 companies.

“AAAE is committed to delivering unparalleled service, innovation and results for our members and we are extremely proud to have nearly doubled our membership over the past decade,” said AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli. “This 10,000-membership milestone is a testament to the value we provide to hard-working aviation professionals around the country.”

“The AAAE team works diligently to offer creative and innovative member benefits that has contributed to strong retention and recruitment,” said Executive Vice President Jacky Sher Raker. “Our members’ professional and personal growth is the core of our mission.”

To support their growth, members of AAAE enjoy a broad array of benefits, including professional development opportunities, access to highly respected training and accreditation programs, complimentary subscriptions to Airport Magazine and the daily Aviation News Today newsletter, and discounts on meetings and other products.

AAAE continues to devote significant resources to improving and expanding the portfolio of member benefits, including:

•              AAAE Hub, a robust online community allowing 24/7 access to essential information and a network of aviation colleagues. Since the Hub’s launch in July 2018, there have been a total of 103,138 logins and 10,594 unique logins.

•              The Mentor Match program, which helps foster mentoring relationships and professional development opportunities across AAAE’s membership.

•              The Professional Development Grant program which has helped 105 members attend meetings and academies who otherwise would not have had the opportunity. Since the program launched in 2017, we have invested over $450,000 in professional development opportunities for our members, including hotel nights, airfare, and complimentary registration.
