MAG Design Studio Receives Second Red Dot Award

DruckMecaer Aviation Group’s in-house design studio, known as MAG Design Studio, announced today the receipt of a second Red Dot Award.

The MAG Design Studio won the Award in the category of Ships, Trains and Planes for the luxury helicopter interior designed for the Bell 525.  The new interior for the Bell 525 brings an ambiance of a luxurious limousine to the aircraft and passengers.

The style and design of the interior maintains a family feel to the brand known as “MAGnificent”.  Previously designed for the Bell 429 helicopter, and also a Red Dot Award, the MAGnificent carries over into the Bell 525 helicopter as well.  Similar style can be noted in the design of the seats, ergonomics of the interior panels and the sound reducing technology known as SILENS (Sound Intensity Level Enhanced Noise System). In addition, cabinetry and various forms of infotainment are all integrated into the style of the interior.

MAG’s design approach for the Bell 525 offers a variety of layouts and allows clients to customize each interior to reflect their personal preference. The interior incorporates the organizations “I-FEEL” (In-Flight Entertainment Enhanced Lounge) which provides a fully customized interactive touch screen based entertainment and cabin management system. The style and flexibility of the I-FEEL allow for passengers to not only customize the visual components of the interior, but also the mood and environment during their flight experience.
