ALSIM Supplies Second AL42 Simulator to Airbus Flight Academy Europe

ALSIM has supplied a second AL42 simulator to Airbus Flight Academy Europe (AFAE). The simulator was delivered to the AFAE site in AngoulÃªme, France.

The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the latest real-world Garmin G1000 avionics suite. It also comes with the latest generation visual system, GFC 700 autopilot and PBN/LPV capabilities.

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C.
